We are all acutely aware of the serious and worrying consequences of spreading the coronavirus. The Tennis Club remains open at the moment for Members to enjoy, but there are a number of precautions we all need to take.
Firstly, if anyone believes they have the symptoms of the coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone who does, please stay away from the Club until you have been tested and are all clear. Should you test positive, please inform the Club so we can advise other Members of the situation.
Secondly, please wash your hands before and after playing tennis. We will try to ensure a readily available supply of soap and paper hand towels in the toilets and the kitchen as soon as we can procure them.
Thirdly, please refrain from shaking hands at the end of matches.
Remember, you should use the NHS 111 self-check tool to see what action you need to take if:
- You have any symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath
- You’ve been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus
- You’ve returned from a badly affected area abroad
