Court Safety

Now that winter is upon us, please make sure the courts are fit for play and free from debris before you start playing. This is your responsibility, and extra care should be taken when the courts are wet. They should not be used if they are icy.

Autumn Leaves

Many thanks to those members who have helped sweep up the leaves and to Mark Love especially. It makes such a difference when more people help. We now have a large number of sacks of leaves in the car park and it would be great if some of you could take a few down to the dump whenever it is convenient to you. Please return any emptied white sacks to the gardening chest at the club, outside the kitchen window. Emptied black sacks can be disposed of.

AGM

Please note the next Annual General Meeting will be held at 8pm on Wednesday 5 March 2025. Please make a note in your diaries.

Maintenance Coordinator

Our maintenance coordinator, Katherine Willis, will be standing down, and we are looking for one or more members to step up to help us ensure maintenance is carried out. Just to be clear, the role is to make sure maintenance happens by engaging with members to take on tasks like joining in the working parties, and employing and supervising outside contractors, rather than carrying out all the work themselves. If you are willing and able to help please speak to Katherine or any other Management Board Member.

Dinner Dance

Please note there is a new date for the Dinner Dance which will now be on Saturday 8 February 2025. Please contact Amy Love for details.
