Playing and Social Opportunities

Club Sessions

Club Play at the weekend are on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, mid-week on Monday and Thursday evenings, with a ladies’ group on Wednesday morning and a men’s group on Thursday morning. In between are many opportunities for made-up fours or singles.

The PBTC Coaching programme is headed up by Mark Love who was awarded National Coach of the year by the LTA in 2015. With his MDL coaching team he hopes to continue to develop and promote tennis and keep putting rackets in peoples hands and inspire not just the kids but the whole family to play tennis.

Mens, ladies and mixed teams take part in the Surrey leagues and Knockout Competitions; there are also Junior and friendly matches throughout the year.

Juniors at PBTC are well catered for from as young as four when they are entertained on court with mini-tennis fun games and short tennis.  When Juniors are of a sufficient standard they are encouraged to play with Seniors. Juniors have a regular session on Friday evenings from 5pm. Daytime events arranged during school holidays.

Competitions for seniors, the annual club singles, doubles and mixed tournaments, and a Plate event; for juniors, regular tournaments across different age groups.
