Firstly congratulations to all players that have taken part in this year’s senior tournament and have contributed to making it a success.
Around 100 matches have already been played and all of the finalists have now been confirmed. Please find attached the order of play.
Play will be starting at 10am on Saturday and is expected to finish around 7:30pm.
There will be some great tennis to watch, so please come down and show your support to all the finalists. Without supporters it is just not a final!!
The bar will be open from 10am from which, in addition to the usual offering, Pimms, prosecco, mojitos, ice poles, jubblies and Magnum ice creams will be available.
The BBQ will be serving from around midday onwards.
Complimentary squash and water will be made available..
If you purchase a “refreshments” ticket from the bar (£3) tea and coffee will be available throughout the day and you will also be able to enjoy the strawberries and cakes which will be served after 2pm.
A huge thank you to all who have helped prepare the club for this event and also to those who have offered to umpire, help behind the bar, operate the BBQ, make cakes and serve the refreshments. But we are still looking for more helpers. Please let us know via email (PBTCTournament@gmail.com) if you are able to help in any way.
There will be a presentation at around 4.15pm to our juniors who played in the finals last Saturday to collect their medals which have arrived this week!
